Overview

The MediMattress has been designed to give total subject comfort in MRI. Its breathable cover and memory foam interior will put your subject at ease during your experiment, enhancing the quality of the data you collect.

Memory foam morphs to the body shape and provides total support of the body, relieving pressure build up in certain areas. Subjects can remain still for much longer periods when supported in this way by the memory foam; they are unlikely to fidget or become restless and need to change position.

This greatly reduces the anxiety, claustrophobia and discomfort during the long time periods associated with MRI experiments.

When a subject is comfortable, relaxed and still, it makes the very most of your scan time by reducing abandoned scans and the need for motion correction in your data.
